Giacomo Cardelli was born in Pistoia in 1977.

He graduated at the Fine Arts Academy in Florence and he started working as illustrator and colourist for several publishing houses( 123 publishing, Raffaello Editore, Giunti, Milano Editore, Guerra Edizioni...).

He entered the world of cartoons working in the feature-film Opopomoz by Enzo D?Al? and afterwards in many short-films and commercials ( Gig, Grana Padano, Giochi Preziosi, Sisa...).

In 2004 he won the special prize at Umoristi a Marostica and he started exhibiting in several satire and cartoon expositions, among them the 23th Biennale internazionale dell'Umorismo nell'Arte in Tolentino and the 12th edition of Festival di Arte leggera La Ghignata di Muggio'.
